AGILLA E TRASIMENO
The group «Agilla e Trasimeno» was founded in 1957 to promote the popular culture of Umbria, in central Italy, and more particularly of the coastal areas of Lake Trasimeno. The members of this ensemble come from Castiglione del Lago; their costumes date from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The music, songs and dances of the group «Agilla e Trasimeno» represent key moments in rural life, such as the wine or wheat harvest.
